I haven't featured a home from one of our historic neighborhoods in a while so I thought it was about time. This one is located in the Alvarado neighborhood. It's a wonderful old house with a coach entrance on one side. You don't see those very often in the southwest. I like the arch over the front walk with the house number on it.
This could be placed on Summit Avenue in St. Paul and would fit right in. I imagine it could also blend nicely with the homes in your childhood city, Quincy. Right?
ReplyDeleteNo 94 is a beautiful home Sharon, first time I've seen a home with a carriage throughway.

ReplyDeleteThis one is a grand place, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very well-maintained. I'd love to live in a place like that.
ReplyDeleteIt would fit right in to many areas here too although it probably would have been made of red brick. It is quite beautiful, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteI'll be right over for a couple of weeks holidays!
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty house, Sharon. Except for the arch and landscaping, it would fit into some New England cities and towns I know.
ReplyDeleteWe have a fair number of grand old homes with carriage estimates but I bet they are all at least 75 years old. Sure isn't any new construction like this.
ReplyDeleteLovely home.
