Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate
Lately when I have a craving for very good chocolate I've been heading to Julia Baker Confections, an elegant little shop at Biltmore Fashion Square. Julia studied at Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts and graduated first in her class with a Grande Diplome de Cuisine & de Patisserie, the highest diploma of pastry and cuisine. She did an internship with chef Jean-Louis Nomicos before founding Julia Baker Confections in 2006. She specializes in luxurious chocolates, custom cakes and decadent desserts. I can certainly vouch for the chocolates. They are some of the best I've ever tasted and I've tasted a lot of them.
I'd never be able to resist these. I'd probably eat them all in one sitting!
ReplyDeleteMmmm, they wouldn't last long in our house ;-)
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are spectacular-looking!
ReplyDeleteThey look beautiful - I bet the cakes are good!
ReplyDeleteIs there coconut in there somewhere?
ReplyDeleteChocolate... never enough !
ReplyDeleteAnd your hand certainly did not shake from impatience when photographing these wonderful chocolate :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautifully photographed!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could eat some.
I love chocolate. I will have to check this place out.
ReplyDeleteOoooh this does look like real chocolate. Cruel, cruel Sharon, don't you realise that none of us can grab one out of our screens??!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThey look much too tempting!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Those are beautiful. But, guessing the price, I'll bet they last awhile.
ReplyDeleteA good testimonial, Sharon; they obviously taste as good as they look!
ReplyDeleteNice looking assortment.
ReplyDeleteOh Sharon, how could you :) They look like delicious little works of art, almost too good to eat... not really :)
