Sprite
The Arizona Biltmore Hotel is now in my neighborhood so last night David and I stopped for an after dinner cocktail. I liked the way those Frank Lloyd Wright sprites were lit up at night so I snapped a shot.
I can see why you like them, quite striking lit up. I'm a fan of cocktails, what did you have Sharon :) p.s. Aimee gave away our destination I see, no secrets from now on :)
Those are interesting carvings, and very well lit. They look like they were inspired by Native American motifs, maybe?
ReplyDeleteAs for the Ralph Lauren store in the previous photo -- yeah, I doubt Ralph considers himself to be in the same league with Pottery Barn.
She looks kinda scary to me...
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful capture!
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered their whole story here

They are marvelous!
Very sprightly, especially at nightly! And I was really glad to hear they moved the Arizona Biltmore to your neighborhood! :))
ReplyDeleteI like the lighting too.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, especially at night.
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous, Sharon! And so is your pic.
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty cool shot. Sprites? I'm partial to Diet Mountain Dew. Do the Dew!
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeleteThe one in the foreground looks amused. Very dramatic lit up like this!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful but a little uncomfortable, sort of a cross between a kachina ans a space alien.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sculptures.

That is a Wright? It seems more ornate than most of his stuff.
