Meringue

This young lady was having her picture taken in the Scottsdale Civic Center park yesterday along with other members of her wedding party.  I was struck by the sheer size of that skirt!  I've heard the term "meringue" used to describe big puffy skirts before but, this one really does look like a meringue.  By the way, it was only 45 degrees (7.2 C) when I was walking around there.  It gave me a bit of a shiver just looking at her and those little bridesmaids.  It might look warm but, it was pretty darn cold by desert standards.

  1. Beside her ladies seem an exceptional figure. If above was cold ... but, well, a wonderful picture.

  7. Terrific portrait shot, but you could hide the rest of the wedding party under there!

  12. If she into a lake she could float! She's very pretty, though. I noticed you had some cold weather. We're going to 84 today which is nice, 'cause we've had some cold days, too!

  13. Who would think about cold when she is 20, bride, has such dress?? Even if the snow starts, her first thought would be "oh, special snow photos now!!"
    Great sunny picture!

  17. I hope she doesn't slip and fall at her wedding. Someone would have to call a crane to get her up! It's certainly a beautiful dress. Is that a tinge of pink in the skirt?
