Layers
There's a house in there somewhere. This hillside house in north Phoenix has layers of wall surrounding it up the side of the hill. From the street level, you can't see the house at all.
At first glance I thought they were steps, wonderful rich colours and textures!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a maze or a kind of fortress... very strange, but I like it.
ReplyDeleteHere one has its peace.
I love the structure (and the color)

Like Karl Demetz says it looks like a maze. It will not be easy to keep neat over the years inside these huge planters.
ReplyDeleteDoes this peal open like an onion too?
ReplyDeleteWhooooops!

That is unusual. I'm not sure I would like living behind all those walls.
ReplyDeleteYou'd never think there was a house in there Sharon.. what a very unique design.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see the inside of that one, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteVery mazelike! I rather like it.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!
ReplyDeleteLooks too much like a fort.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat house! I especially like that adobe color.
ReplyDeleteVery unusual, but such a lovely sight to see with its curves and luscious colors. I wonder what Freud would say about the design and its owners?!
ReplyDeleteIt seems unusual design at over there but still it is not disturbing.
ReplyDeletehere in this region privacy is very important so you can see high garden walls to protect it from unwelcome eyes.
