I've seen this couple with their dogs often at Biltmore Fashion Park when I stop there for shopping. On this day I decided to ask about the dogs. This dog's name is Tundra and it is a wolf. There was another wolf pup behind Scott the owner but, the pup was not too interested in having a photo taken. Actually Tundra, though very friendly, wasn't into the whole posing thing either. Tundra loved a little rub on the chest and sort of nuzzled my leg when I did that.
Beautiful looking animal!
ReplyDeleteTundra... a great and fitting name!

That's a strong leash, and strong arms, for a strong animal.
ReplyDeleteIs Tundra ok with Arizona's weather? It's a beautiful dog.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful animal. Reminds me of Smokey who was half wolf and half German Shepherd.
ReplyDeleteI'm having a hard time imaging this pair at Biltmore Fashion Square! Interesting.
ReplyDeleteWolf? or part wolf?
ReplyDeleteIn Maine, this ain't happen'. Beautiful beast though. Does Tundra bark or howl at the moon?
I wondered if he was part wolf but they said he was pretty much all wolf. There is probably more to the story but, that's all I know.
ReplyDeleteA rare thing to have a wolf around domestically. I've seen them in the wild; they're magnificent animals.
ReplyDeleteIs that legal to keep a wild animal as a pet? Great looking animal.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to double-check but I think it's unlawful to domesticate and keep a wolf or half-wolf in Minnesota. From what I've read, they are not easy to handle. Doesn't seem quite right to me, tho, to leash this beautiful animal.
ReplyDeleteA WOLF!!!
ReplyDeleteOmigosh.

ReplyDeleteThere is no limit to what people will keep as a pet.
