A single yellow butterfly caught my eye yesterday afternoon. I think this one is called a Cloudless Sulphur. It was busy flying all around this lantana plant hopping from flower to flower. I wonder if all the rain has made those flowers a little more tasty.

ReplyDeleteWhere the heck do they come up with these names for butterflies? Of all, bugs, animals reptiles etc. I do believe the'flies' have the most unique names. Here I'll name a 'new' one.

All the plants must feel a little refreshed by the rain as long as they weren't beaten up by it. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAll the plants are happy to get the rain so I think the butterflies would be too. That is a good name for this one because the color is kind of sulfur like.
