Blinding Luxury
There is a new Mercedes dealership that has just opened up across the street from my hair salon. When I went to get my hair cut last week, I spotted this rather shiny car in the window so I walked over to check it out. They told me car has a "wrap" on it. I did some research and it looks like something done by a company called WrapStyle. They wouldn't let me in that little display room so I had to shoot through the window which was quite difficult with the sun glare mixed with the glare coming off the car.
I can't imagine driving this in sunny Arizona. I think I'd need some specially made sunglasses to counter the reflection.
But, now that I think about it, I don't really have anything to worry about. I couldn't afford the price tag on this car anyway. Hopefully, I won't encounter too many on the road on a very sunny day.
The seagulls around here would just love 'defacing' that beauty!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I've only known about advertising wraps on vehicles!
ReplyDeleteLooking at that first photo... my eyes hurt.
ReplyDeleteThe first comment made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteI think that would be fun to take a spin around town in. But yes, the glare would be bad.
ReplyDeleteI think a new car dealership was a poor choice for land use in the middle of what should be a pedestrian zone in downtown Scottsdale.
ReplyDeleteI read in the newspaper that some people in the nearby condos were upset as well. One of them said they spent good money for a condo and now have a view of the butt end of a car dealership.
Perfect to go with your freshly groomed hair... :-)
ReplyDeleteI think the photos turned out fab!
Love the pics, Sharon! It would be hard to be incognito in that car.
ReplyDeleteIf they don't let people in - even people with brand new hair-dos - how on earth are they going to sell it?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing that John said. Maybe they check your credit rating at the door.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want it... too flashy.
ReplyDeleteBravo for three superb images. I suspect that your photos through the windows are even better than a clear shot might have been.
ReplyDeleteWrapped Mercs are new to me. I will have to keep my eye out.
Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteThe car looks like it is real silver. So shinny.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
I have not seen a "wrapped" car on any of our streets. Unusual way to call attention to a car model.
