Blinding Luxury

There is a new Mercedes dealership that has just opened up across the street from my hair salon.  When I went to get my hair cut last week, I spotted this rather shiny car in the window so I walked over to check it out.  They told me car has a "wrap" on it.  I did some research and it looks like something done by a company called WrapStyle.  They wouldn't let me in that little display room so I had to shoot through the window which was quite difficult with the sun glare mixed with the glare coming off the car.

I can't imagine driving this in sunny Arizona.  I think I'd need some specially made sunglasses to counter the reflection.

But, now that I think about it, I don't really have anything to worry about.  I couldn't afford the price tag on this car anyway.  Hopefully, I won't encounter too many on the road on a very sunny day.

  5. I think that would be fun to take a spin around town in. But yes, the glare would be bad.

  6. I think a new car dealership was a poor choice for land use in the middle of what should be a pedestrian zone in downtown Scottsdale.

I read in the newspaper that some people in the nearby condos were upset as well. One of them said they spent good money for a condo and now have a view of the butt end of a car dealership.

  8. Love the pics, Sharon! It would be hard to be incognito in that car.

  9. If they don't let people in - even people with brand new hair-dos - how on earth are they going to sell it?

  10. I was thinking the same thing that John said. Maybe they check your credit rating at the door.

  11. Bravo for three superb images. I suspect that your photos through the windows are even better than a clear shot might have been.

Wrapped Mercs are new to me. I will have to keep my eye out.

  13. I have not seen a "wrapped" car on any of our streets. Unusual way to call attention to a car model.
