I know I shouldn't play with my food but, when the cherries are this gorgeous, it's hard to resist. So, I put them in a bowl, put them against a white background and fired away.
Then I messed around with some photo editing and came up with all sorts of versions. I liked this one the best. Never fear, I am going to eat the cherries. Their day in the spotlight is over.
At least you captured them before they disappeared... love the special effect!
ReplyDeletewe call them körsbär.
ReplyDeleteNice idea, Sharon, if you photograph your food for an entire year, at the end you can make a book :)
ReplyDeletep.s. we call them Kerschn.
The local ones are in here now! Great effect, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteGood effects, Sharon. Yes, ours are now in season.
ReplyDeleteDelicious! Loved the lone flamingo yesterday.
ReplyDeleteKeeping then a bowl after the photo shoot would be unconscionable; they cry out to be savored and eaten!
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah. That second picture is the bomb.
ReplyDelete(OMG, did I really say that?)
Hah! It's a cherry bomb!
ReplyDeleteVery creative.
ReplyDeleteLovely cherries! I love the original shot more :)
