Young Flowers

It's not just wildflowers that I photographed last Thursday at the Desert Botanical Garden.  While I was enjoying an iced tea at the garden cafe, Tabitha came over to talk to me.  She told me how she found a piece of sharp glass on the ground and she picked it up before someone could step on it and threw it away.  I told her that was a smart and very thoughtful gesture

Then her sister Audrey came over to show me how her umbrella opened automatically when she pressed the button on the handle.  I told her that was genius and I wished I had one like it.

I'd say these are two friendly and smart 'budding' beauties.

I have a new post today on Sharon's Sojourns.  I'm doing a food comparison, London vs. Scottsdale.

  5. I think the word, "precious," works here. They are both precious and your portraits are delightful - beautiful skin tones and exposure!
