Wildflowers

Lots of wildflowers were blooming at the Desert Botanical Garden when I was there on Thursday.

There were many of these fabulous Arroyo Lupine blooming all over the wildflower loop.

Mixed in with the other wildflowers, they made a carpet of color.

The really bright ones stood out from the crowd.

  1. That bottom one is Indian Paintbrush, isn't it? One of my favorite western flowers!

  6. Great wildflowers. Unfortunately, the only wildflowers I have seen lately are in the medians of streets and roads.

I saw a large plume of smoke from a fire in your neighborhood late yesterday from our office window. I hope everyone is OK.

  12. I showed flowers from the Naples equivalent two days ago. The flowers in Florida and Arizona are completely different.

  14. I see you have photographed bluebonnets (top photo) and Indian paintbrush (bottom photo). We now have both blooming here on our farm. I'm hoping to get a picture in the next few days!
