Spring time sneezes
The Acacia trees are blooming right now along with a few other flowering trees. I wonder if that is what is making me sneeze so much. Even if it is, I still like their scent.
For some people, the piper met be paid! The annoyance of sneezing and allergies is offset by the beautiful buds and blooms. Easy for me to say because I am not one of those sufferers as the rest of my family is. I'm sympathetic tho!!
I've been hit hard with either a late winter cold or allergies or a combination. I vote for the combination. Our oak trees leave yellow pollen everywhere! Achooo!
Lots of people came to Phoenix in part because the dry desert climate was good for people with allergies, but then nearly 4 million people living in the area have planted trees, bushes, flowers and lawns that have recreated similar pollen issues.
After escaping for years, I finally succumbed to spring allergies myself. But agree wholeheartedly, it's (almost) worth it b/c the blooms are so beautiful:)
Sounds like hay fever season may be on its way, beautiful photo though!
ReplyDeleteThey look rather fine against the blue sky. I'll be joining the summer sneezing club any day now!
ReplyDeleteI photographed a blooming Acacia yesterday too! :-)

ReplyDeleteI have been sneezing for two weeks or more. Too early for up here. The flowering trees are pretty though.
ReplyDeleteThat last couple of weeks have been bad for my allergies. I have been sneezing with water eyes and runny nose.
ReplyDeleteThey look lovely. I don't think I've ever seen one of these trees before.
ReplyDeleteIt's worth the sneezes to see this beauty! Great pic with the blue sky, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty. Love this time of year with all the flowers and trees starting to bloom.
ReplyDeletePerhaps but by what I learnt the acacias' pollens are not that much allergic.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry about your allergies, Sharon. I am fortunate that I don't have any.

ReplyDeleteOh the itchy eyes.
ReplyDeleteLove the Acacia bloom, the smell is divine but I do feel sorry for allergy sufferers.. Aimee is one!
