I made my weekly Desert Botanical Garden walk yesterday afternoon and while walking around, I spotted this starling sitting atop a cactus so I framed him with a bit of Chihuly glass and voila, I had my Friday shot. I can always count on the garden to supply me with some interesting shots. Have a great weekend all!
Fantastic, a real explosion of colours!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing to see such a commonplace bird, for me, in such an exotic location. And beautifully photographed.
ReplyDeleteYou are a natural photographer and this is one good example as to why that's true. The colors are brilliant as is the concept.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautifully composed! What bird wouldn't want to be set off so fantastically against Chihuly glass:) Have a great weekend too!
ReplyDeleteHome run, Sharon! I love it.

ReplyDeleteThis one gave me a big smile for the day, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully framed!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what birds make of the sculptures.
I knew that would be a Chihuly Sharon, apart from being a very exotic 'frame' it works so well with the blue sky.
ReplyDeleteA startling starling fram in delicious red.
ReplyDeleteThe Garden ought to hire you just on the basis of all the great shots you've taken there. We have to get back.
