What's the old adage? It's a sight for sore eyes!! Nice to see some spring like blooms! Our entire nation has been too cold and unpleasant this winter.
They are so nice and remind me of our dogwood trees which will be blooming fairly soon. The building in the background reminds me of an elementary school.
Flowering pear trees! Beautiful! The streets of German Village in Columbus are lined with Bartlett pear trees that burst into bloom in early April. The sight always lifted my spirits! Harbingers of spring.
Beautiful, subtle colours. Such a shame they don't last much longer.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the shortness of the blooming season for these trees, but there will be other blooming trees that follow them. Like the jacoranda.
