There were three workmen here carefully adding the 'arms' to this giant sculpture. I would imagine that adding those pieces one by one takes quite a lot of patience and gentle handling.

Years ago I watched workers assembling Chihuly's bright yellow chandelier in the foyer of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. It was a slow and very precise process with each piece removed from many, many boxes as the object was being shaped and formed. This one actually is similar, except for color, to the one in the museum.
