A London Adventure, Part 3

Next on our adventure agenda was a visit to the Albert Memorial.  We found a convenient place to park the little Mini right in front of Royal Albert Hall.

From our parking spot, it was just a short walk across the street to admire this wonderful tribute to Queen Victoria's love for her late husband Prince Albert.

While we were there, we took a moment to admire the fall tinted trees of Hyde Park.  At this point in time, our stomachs were telling us it was time for lunch so off we went in search of an appropriate lunch spot.

  3. Royal Albert Hall was featured in the 1950's Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Man Who Knew Too Much," starring Jimmy Stewart and Doris Day.

It is also in the lyrics to the Beatles "A Day in the Life."

  4. I am still amazed at how you were able to park the car close to these places so that you could get it in the shot.
