More monsoon clouds rolling in over the slope of Camelback Mountain silhouetting a saguaro cactus. It rained on and off all day Monday, there was light rain in parts of the valley on Tuesday and there is supposed to be more rain coming on Wednesday. Last night I sat on my patio for a while enjoying the cooler temperatures. Such a nice break from the heat of summer.
Its so nice to have these rainy respites in the hot weather..the smell of rain on hot dry land is fabulous don't you think! Its been pouring all day here also.
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic looking scene!
ReplyDeleteBless the rain for the parched land! The cloud is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteI think the clouds during the last three weeks in Phoenix have been the best ever. Or maybe it is just because of your and Julie's photo blogs I am noticing and appreciating them more.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Cumulus!

It's been a long time since we have had this many rainy days in a row. I love those big puffy white clouds. They add so much to a picture of the sky.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteWe also sat on our patio enjoying the cool last night. But don't think there's any rain today or for the next week as the temperature again heads toward 105.
ReplyDeleteSharon, you deserve some cool weather and some rain.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and fluffy clouds.
ReplyDeletePrecious rain.
ReplyDeleteOh, these are gorgeous clouds!
