I wasn't sure I'd see any fireworks tonight but driving home from a very enjoyable dinner with friends, I passed the Phoenix Country Club just as the display was going. I pulled over and snapped a few shots. I couldn't avoid the palm trees so it became part of the shot.
Nice capture.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great shot for a drive-by and the palm tree simply adds to its charm! Well done!
ReplyDeleteI wondered if you would try some fireworks photography. It's hard to avoid the trees. We had our usual show close to our house but we didn't get to see it because we were inside consoling a terrified dog. Today our yard is covered in ash and burned paper.
ReplyDeleteThe tree adds some context to the shot.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot, and the palm tree certainly adds to it!
ReplyDeleteI love fireworks, from time to time.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful night shot, Sharon!
I have been so worried about the fireworks in the dry desert...they are spectacular but with the dryness and random fires... but your photos are once again spectacular. Have a great weekend! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
ReplyDeletep.s. I wish we could ship you some of our rainfall!
Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThat is the best type of fireworks show. A bonus that you did not expect, and did not have to wait hours for it to start.
ReplyDeleteNice shot. I now have 365 days to read up on how to take photos of fireworks. Mine were terrible. Yours is pretty good.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a good show.
ReplyDeleteExplosive image Sharon, nicely done..I haven't seen such a colourful palm tree for a long time :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with RedPat, the tree makes the shot better.
