The sky was dark and stormy looking most of the day on Friday but alas, no rain in my area. I heard on the news that parts of north Scottsdale got a little bit of rain but nothing my side of town. I stopped in this condo community to catch a photo of the dark sky in the east.
I like photos with dark clouds. It's a great enhancement.
ReplyDeleteI remember wishing so hard for rain in Phoenix. Some folks can't understand one can get too much sunshine! :)
ReplyDeleteNice condo community!
Don't you hate that when you really, really need the rain and it teases you like this?
ReplyDeleteWe did get a sprinkle yesterday. The dew point this morning is 54 so I am hopeful.
ReplyDeleteOur first arrival in Phoenix was July 6, 1972. When raindrops began falling that night all of the locals rushed outside. We were curious but soon learned it was the first rain in 100 days.
ReplyDeleteI, too, kept scanning the darkened skies yesterday but saw not a drop of rain at our house.
We are in our 14 day of rain and thunderstorms...I am wishing the rain gods would allow...permit..move ...all of our rain over West to ease your pain. We have ground soil that is mush! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
ReplyDeleteWe have had a lot of rain but today is sunny and very humid - typical Toronto summer weather.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a pretty nice condo community.
ReplyDeleteNew England gets plenty of rain, so droughts are extremely rare. Occasionally we get too much rain, like Hurricane Sandy, but most of the time we get a nice mix of rain and sun.
Stella and I had a little rain fall on us as we were taking our morning walk that day and we LOVED IT!
ReplyDeleteMuch like our skies. All gray and no moisture.
ReplyDeleteIt does look quite ominous!
ReplyDeleteYou folks (and in Santa Fe) need a rain man.
ReplyDeleteVery nice neighbourhood!
