This business in old town Scottsdale sells high quality linens and household items. I didn't go in, I was just struck by the attractive store front. I love that striped awning against the siena colored walls. The name of the business "Valerianne" is on the wall behind that tree, and even it is an attractive addition.
It also had a wonderful garden on one end of the building. I love little spaces like this.
I enjoy them also Sharon. Sometimes I just go in and have a quiet wonder around without actually buying anything, just to get ideas. I would definitely have wondered into Valerianne's .
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed with how clean the awning is. It would be grubby here.
ReplyDeleteNot only the front is attractive. Look at that lovely garden!
ReplyDeleteGreat little store, would love to look inside. Garden apace is peaceful.
ReplyDeleteThe awning and the color go so well together but the garden is the best part. I bet if you went in you would find something that you couldn't leave without.
ReplyDeleteI like everything about this place...and the name is an elegant addition.
ReplyDeleteOld Town Scottsdale: Is there still a movie theater on the east side of the street? I remember watching "How the West was Won" there.
Looks very French but from the garden perhaps at the Riviera.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very classy looking place!
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love those Southwest colors. Am going to Santa Fe for the greater part of July and couldn't be happier!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteExcellent shade of red and I love the garden.
ReplyDeleteThe rich color is great and I like the side garden path. You didn't go in? I thought for sure you would like the classy housewares. That is the kind of classy girl you are.
