In yesterday's post I did some people watching at The Vig, a restaurant and bar on the east side of Phoenix. In between celebrity sightings, I took a few shots of the band to share with you. The band is called "Elvis Before Noon" and they make great music. They perform every Sunday between 3:00 and 6:00 PM.
Nice band pics. But the idea of an unshaven and unkempt Elvis staggering downstairs in his pyjamas is not pretty!
ReplyDeleteA Rockabilly drum player! Very cool mosaic, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteThat drummer would fit in w/ Chris Isaak's band nicely.
ReplyDeleteLong live Rockabilly!
Must be a lively place. I wonder what kind of music they were playing.
ReplyDeleteWe listened to a pretty good band in the Spirit Room in Jerome yesterday, until lightening struck and the power went off.
The drummer has a hair style from the 50's, but guitar player looks to have hair from the late 60's or 70's.

ReplyDeleteThat would have been fun to see.
ReplyDeleteFantastic mosaic Sharon, I bet the music was really great.
ReplyDeleteThanks for these. I'll bet they are a lot of fun! But looking at the hours they play maybe they should call themselves "Elvis Before Six". :-)
ReplyDeleteit's fun to hear the names that people dream up for their bands! This has to be one of the more unique ones.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a good time here. I like the name of the band.
