Roofline

This might look like a grand cabin but, it's actually a business building located on a very busy street in Phoenix not far from where I live.  It used to house a financial services company but, I think it might be empty right now.  I've always thought this was a rather unusual design to be located in such a traditional part of town.  I framed the photo so that I'd just capture the triple roofline of the building.

  1. Unlike Dave I think it is on 15th Ave. just south of Thomas on the east side of the street. We're probably both wrong!

  4. I just love this shot! The composition is great and the subject unexpected. Wouldn't this make a nice western steakhouse?

  5. I'm with Judy...this is unexpected to see in downtown Phoenix. The building materials just don't seem quite right. :)

  7. Unusual for sure. I do like the wood, which works better in Phoenix than Ocala I'd guess. And the shake shingles. Excellent composition!
