As you might guess, the Phoenix area has a plethora of Mexican Restaurants. You can find just about any style, heat range, or price level in this culinary area.
This restaurant in Scottsdale has recently changed hands to new owners. I haven't tried the new place yet but, online reviews appear to be praising the food and the margaritas.
The new place is called Dos Juevos Cantina. I'll have to give it a try one of these days.
If the food looks as good as the building, it should be a nice place to go. I like the tiled front and the cactus garden.
ReplyDeleteYou are so fortunate. We don't have any "good" Mexican restaurants. We have three or four that would lay claim to that description, but that's not the reality. Our nearest one is in The Villages, 35 miles south.
ReplyDeleteThis looks very good!
We have a great one in Fort Lauderdale called "Ole, Ole!"
Oh wow Sharon, there's no way you're going to miss this restaurant, amazing frontage very Mexican ole!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sad. I loved Julio G's. I would drive all the way from downtown just to eat there. I hope the new place does well. Just so long as they don't close La Pinata at 19th Ave and Osborn.
ReplyDeleteIf the food so good is as your 1st photo, then I would try.
ReplyDeleteGive it a try and have a marguerita on me!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the colour and the cacti!
ReplyDeleteGreat colors. The black is what makes this seem sophisticated and "now."
ReplyDeleteI'll be in line right behind you.
ReplyDeleteA really eye-catching look! easy to remember.
ReplyDeleteI'm coming for a visit in about three weeks. I'm looking forward to some "real" Mexican food - not that Tex-Mex stuff they serve here!
ReplyDeleteThis is spectacular! Fantastic contrasts! Love it.
ReplyDeleteSuch a colorful building. You'll have to let us know how the food is.
