Terrific photos, again! Don't you wonder what's going through their little brain, other than "Watch out! She looks harmless enough, but one never knows about humans!"
I wonder what this little guy and my Horned lizard that I posted a few days ago would think of each other if they met. Mine was looking at me the same way.
Wonderful shot of this guy. In NM we mostly caught the long skinny blue or green lizards. Perhaps I should say my brothers caught them while I watched.
The top shot is a winner. What a fantastic capture!
ReplyDeleteblack collared lizards. we have a couple that live in our yard. great image

ReplyDeleteIf I were a lizard and saw you coming down the path, I would keep an eye on you.
ReplyDeleteBeing aware of what is happening around is such a plus!
ReplyDeleteLizard patterns and textures; rock patterns and textures. Mix and match.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like he had a little trouble with his tail. Love that first shot.
ReplyDeleteHe wanted you to take a photo of his "best side".
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised he stuck around long enough for you to get the profile shot.
ReplyDeleteHe's a big one.
ReplyDeleteA real poser.

ReplyDeleteHe's a little cutie, even if he does have a rather grumpy look on his face. Well caught here Sharon.
