Arizona Road Trip: Tubac
After checking in to my beautiful room, I explored the gorgeous grounds of the Tubac Golf Resort and found the above chapel. The resort uses the chapel for weddings and other celebrations. This was truly a magical place and I’d stay here again if the occasion arose.
Looks like a great place to stay. Were you totally on pleasure or combined with some business?
ReplyDeleteGreat architecture!
ReplyDeleteI would have guessed it was Native American built. I like your composition. You got the lighting just about perfect (you can just make out details in the darkest shadows and that's the way it should be).
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome.
ReplyDeleteJulie and her mother have stayed in Tubac, but I am ashamed to admit that in 30 years of living in Arizona I have never been there. I need to go.
ReplyDeleteIt's really lovely!
ReplyDeleteMy brother who lives in Tucson often spends the Fourth of July here. It is such a beautiful place. I hope you got to do some shopping.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful chapel from the outside....did you get to see the inside?
ReplyDeleteI don't think that I have ever known about a chapel on a golf course. Good place to visit before a tournament! Fabulous looking building.
ReplyDeleteBoth this shot and the entrance to Tubac Resort are fabulous Sharon, amazing style and the big wooden door adds so much to the look of the chapel.
