Back in June, I posted a photo of a church being built with a huge dome on the top. You can see it
here. The dome is now covered with this shiny material making it really stand out for miles away. It is located very near interstate 10 running through the heart of Phoenix so anyone traveling on that highway can't help but see it.
So for yesterday's post, I took the above photo and worked a little magic with it to create that chrome and black sky look.
And, where and how did this "magic" come from. Those are quite wonderful before and after images.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant 'disguise' of the dome yesterday Sharon, I'm not even going to tell you what I thought it might be haha!
ReplyDeleteI know just where you're talking about. I need to take a drive along I-10 and check it out. Had me fooled.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing the architect stand outs of an area I am driving through. This is nice!
ReplyDeleteBoth the day and night shots are very cool!
ReplyDeleteYou sure couldn't miss that one.
ReplyDeleteSo this is the same picture as yesterday? Now I want to see what the whole place looks like. They went to a lot of trouble to make it stand out and look unique.
ReplyDeleteCool effect Sharon!
ReplyDeleteYou sure had a perfect deep blue sky here. I'm not sure how I feel about the dome. Maybe I need to withhold judgment for a while.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely eye-catching!
ReplyDeleteI liked it when it was all wood. The older part of the church looks interesting too. I drove around it, but did not go in.
