I mentioned on Monday that we had a day of stormy weather last Sunday and yesterday I featured some geese posing for me at Papago Park. The reason I went to Papago Part was to see if I could get a photo or two of the clouds that were swirling overhead. This one turned out pretty good. All day long, the sky was constantly changing with dark clouds followed by white clouds and then more dark clouds. It was fun to watch!
what a beautiful composition, sharon.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like an extraordinary lovely place...great photo.
ReplyDeleteI love dramatic skies!
ReplyDeleteStorms in Arizona make for the best shots and this one has some great color.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very beautiful place, Sharon, not needed a blue sky for a good picture. Well done!
ReplyDeleteWe don't get skies like that often in Phoenix. Usually just the same old sunshine and blue skies.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great one with all the dark and light clouds and the movement in the water. A rare scene.
ReplyDeleteThose swirling clouds often mean intermittent rain here...but they are very pretty and so is your beautifully-composed photo!
ReplyDeleteI love this picture. Great composition and contrast.
ReplyDeleteI really got into that storm...my camera needs a break now.
A dynamic sky!
ReplyDeletePapago Park and clouds are definitively an excellent match!
ReplyDeleteSharon, this is so well composed shot. Love the mountains against the sky and the water sets it all off beautifully!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise you got tropical weather patterns there.
ReplyDeleteYou found a wonderful place to highlight this angry sky today, Sharon. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beatiful setting, Sharon! I had to enlarge the shot, it's fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you took the trip to get this shot. The sky was amazing.
