Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
I like your close-ups a lot!
They really are strange and wonderful cactus blooms Sharon! Lovely close up.
A great picture to show those of us who never get to see these blooms. Love it!
Agree with Kate. Interesting shape and color combo.
And the hummingbirds love all those shapes and sizes. Great shot.
A rare sight!
A nice combination of color, light, shape and texture.
Beautiful close up, Sharon!
I really like these agave blooms. In fact, I got a similar picture last year but at the gas station of all places!
These are one of the most beautiful plant blooms.
These are beautiful.
They are fabulous Sharon!
The variety of plants that grow in Arizona always amazed me. These are very beautiful!
quite lovely. i just saw one on these in bloom on my street.
Fabulous. I have a giant false agave in my Florida yard, but it went in last year so I don't know if it flowers like this. That would be great if it did.
Love this.
I don't recall ever seeing the blooms before. Thanks for that.
I don't know if I have never seen these or just not paid attention to them, but I like them a lot!
Beautiful! One of my aloes(*) is blooming for the first time, I'm just waiting for the little yellow flowers to open to take some shots.(*)Actually I'm not quite sure it's an aloe, maybe a small spiny agave... I don't know.
I like your close-ups a lot!
