The wedding downtown

When I was roaming around downtown last Sunday late afternoon, I happened to pass this wedding party being arranged for photographs right in the middle of a street.  I sat at a stop sign and watched as the photographer lined up the female half of the wedding party in a line right across the middle of the street.  I apologize for the quality of this photo.  I grabbed the camera and shot it right through the windshield.  When I had to move on, I drove around the block in time to see the guys lined up the same way for their photo op.  I really wish I could see those shots, they have to be very unique.

  2. That's a good idea, it makes a change from the usual in front of town hall or on beach or... well you know the usual! Love the colour of the bridesmaids' dresses!

  5. I see they're still making bridesmaids dresses that you'd never be caught dead in in any other venue.

"And how did you get arrested, sir?"

"Well, I was taking wedding pictures in the middle of the street and a truck ran over the bride!"

Sheesh! Great shot, though. So funny!

  12. The first thing I thought of was how dirty the hem of the brides gown must have gotten dragging in the street.

  13. I have worked in downtown Phoenix for decades, including far too many Sundays in the office. I have never seen a wedding party in the street.

Susie is getting married next year. This is not a pose I will ask the photographer to replicate.
