I expected lots of traffic and huge crowds when I went shopping on Saturday but, I didn't expect to be under attack by storm troopers and aliens. It turns out that as long as I dropped a dollar in the Salvation Army red kettle, I was safe.
If you peek at the reflection in the glass behind this trio, you will see the Biltmore Fashion Park's annual Poinsettia Christmas tree.
Ouch, here it is dangerous...
ReplyDeletei didn't realize the salvation army had to turn to such dramatic measures to collect funds this year.
ReplyDeletewe definitely live in a "galaxy far, far away".
ReplyDeleteWhat a great unexpected pic!
The last few weeks I shop at dinner time... crowds are down. In and out! Fast, and no storm troopers.
ReplyDeleteThis is a unique approach to charitable solicitation. Whatever works.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's pretty unexpected and fun to run into Star Wars characters!
ReplyDeleteI think that is a great idea! I hope we get to see a picture of that tree!
ReplyDeleteTyranny for a good cause. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha I wonder if that idea will catch on Sharon, it's such a good cause. Now that's what I call a 'proper' Christmas tree, red and green, nice!!
ReplyDeleteWow the salvation Army has to threaten people to get them to give $$!
ReplyDeleteHow fun. I love that tree. I shot my only paid photo job there for a family.
ReplyDeleteWow! Well here you go. Wouldn't pass by these guys.
ReplyDeleteStrange-looking critters! I'm glad you got away safely even though you were forced to acquiesce to extortion via the S.A.
ReplyDeleteStorm troopers and aliens are out? Good thing I got my shopping done on Friday. I'm hoping we will see more of that poinsettia tree.
ReplyDeleteThese days I wish peace and happiness come to your house.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!.

These guys can be tricky to get away from.
