Weathered

It rained again last Saturday night and most of Sunday morning.  Since we don't get to see much rain, I decided to drive around and enjoy the moist atmosphere.  While roaming around in the warehouse district south of downtown, I spotted these unusual stairs leading to a rather weather-beaten door.

  3. Someone walking down those steps could take a wicked fall if they do not anticipate the missing step.

  4. That is an unusual way to build the steps. This kind of place can make for some interesting pictures. I like it.

  5. Very interesting stairs--looks like they were put there as an after-thought (Gee, we might need these someday)

You certainly have an eye for the unusual!

  8. Those are a rather make shift set of stairs, I hope large loads aren't delivered on those stairs.

  9. It is funny. On European sites like JM's or VP's, these weathered scenes look so right and so nostalgic. In the US, they look like OSHA violations.

  12. Love this shot Sharon, the rain always creates an added dimension to an image. Just been catching up on missed posts, beautiful reflections in 'Rain Finally', chuckled at the paint job on the Van Go delivery van, very clever. Ooo!those shorts, yeh right! Loved the 'Roses in the Rain, both images are gorgeous. Nice work indeed!! So good to be back in Perth..

  13. You know, I've got to say I actually ove the colors in this photo! The wall looks almost like a sea mist green, which goes great with the gray and rust colors. I love it!
