Low Hanging Clouds
Last weekend when I was at the Tovrea Castle I saw these low hanging clouds hanging between the Papago Buttes. Even though I had to shoot across power lines and the highway, I thought the cloud formation was photo worthy.
It's good that you left the foreground untouched, would have been easy to have cropped the image at the foot of the Papago Buttes. Civilisation and wilderness meet.
Sharon, When Julie and I come over for dinner tomorrow night, I think there will be a mention of your photo yesterday.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot. The desert certainly looks green. I guess that rain you had this week brightened it up a bit.
ReplyDeleteindeed it is.
ReplyDeleteI think that the highway makes it even more interesting. I love as well the horizontal lines, both smooth and jagged
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely!
ReplyDeleteAnd you were right on. Clouds fascinate me. Very nice shot!
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice shot, nature and the city, all in one.
ReplyDeleteSometimes to get to something good, we have to get through the not so good. :)

ReplyDeleteAnd you got a bird in there too! Not much traffic on the road. The clouds are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe clouds seem like they are mimicing the buttes.
ReplyDeletegood shot.
ReplyDeleteNice catch!
ReplyDeleteWonderful rock formations, which the clouds seem to be 'copycating'!
