It's a mystery

While I was driving in the neighborhood of yesterday's mansion, I came across this rather elaborately landscaped yard.  If you click on the photo you will see a waterfall back there at the end of the man-made stream bed.  I couldn't see a house at all so if there is one behind this area, it's well hidden.

This gate was attached to the yard and a bit of construction equipment was behind it but, no house.  I drove around the area trying to see if there was a house somewhere back there but, no luck.
It's a mystery.

  1. I think I like the gate more than the style of the house.

  2. If you live in the desert, of course, why not build your own stream. God would have put a stream there, if only He (or She) knew how.

  3. Probably they will build a house here... maybe in a few years ;)

  4. Maybe it's a question of what came first the gate or the house Sharon! Very mysterious.

  5. Looks like a change of plans or change of finances. Pretty odd starting with a fancy gate before anything to protect and a fancy fake waterfall before someone to see it.

  6. Desert Water Park! :-)

  7. Whether there's a house or not, someone does not want you (or anyone else) snooping around. You could, of course, wait until dark, climb the fence and scout the entire area. Bring night vision goggles!

Just kidding. Curiouser and curiouser, though...

  8. Yes, it is a mystery indeed. Maybe it will be the gatehouse or clubhouse?

  10. A plot of land that someone didn't know what to do with? Maybe there's a whole Neverland behind those gates!

  12. I just went searching to translate the words on the gate...all I needed to do was read JM's comment. :)

  13. All that green!! And where oh where does the water come from for this place? If it is out of the groundwater or city water supply, it would not be a very eco friendly place, mansion or not.
That being said, the pictures are lovely.
