This office building was built in the Usonian style of Frank Lloyd Wright which is identified by the block construction. This building originally housed a dental office and today it has been subdivided into two or three offices. The building was first listed in the city directory in 1952 but, no other information is available so the architect for this building has not been determined.
This photo shows another entrance to the building. This isn't a great shot of the building but, I love the reflection of the red Mustang in the window.

ReplyDeleteReally lovely building and a great heritage
ReplyDeleteI agree that the Red Mustang's reflection is a terrific spot" on the window.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen this style of building before Sharon, although it does have a 1050's feel about it. Clever spotting with the red Mustang!
ReplyDeleteA small gem that is probably frequently overlooked.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Dave's comment, people probably pass it everyday without a thought. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteLove that reflection.
ReplyDeleteSo many followers of Frank Lloyd Wrights designs. I am fond of his designs too. The red mustang does set off that window.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I would not have identified it as a Wright or Wright-school. Thanks for educating us.
ReplyDeleteI noticed the red mustang, too. Very nice. We are so lucky to have so much of Frank Loyd Wright's influence here.
ReplyDeleteOh, yea. The mustang reflection was definitely an eye catcher. :)
