Back in the early 60s I was an insurance investigator in Phoenix. I remember talking to a man who had just bought a house similar to this on Camelback Mountain. He was a millionaire and lived off of his investments. The house cost $30,000 plus! It was magnificent and I couldn't imagine anyone paying that much for a house!
I hope that they have their windows tinted, or else I would hat to see their electric bill.
ReplyDeleteThe light must be fantastic in that house!
ReplyDeleteIt does look modern but also, it looks like it has been there for awhile.
ReplyDeleteModern is nice. I'm more of a traditional gal, but it really doesn't matter. Location, location, location! And this home has a terrific one!
ReplyDeleteI live in a home that was build about 1820... a building like this? Ain't my cup of tea. Wonderful to visit, but that's about it! hahahaha
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The architecture is desert-perfect.

Times have changed!
There are some beautiful homes on Camelback Mtn but this isn't one of my favorites. Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteI like it. Lots of windows. Fits in.
ReplyDeleteWow! This one is truly fantastic and I agree with Jacob: desert-perfect! Love the house and the photo.
