This is such a fine composition...excellent photography.
I lived with my parents in Phoenix in 1951/52...I went to high school and delivered newspapers. We were quite poor and I may have told you this before but my mother would buy horsemeat from FDA inspected horsemeat stores in Phoenix.
Lois and I moved back there (to Tempe) in 1959...I worked as an insurance investigator and went to ASU nights...graduated in 1963, then did a year of graduate work. Lois worked as a secretary for ASU. We bought a Hallcraft home at 8401 E. Edgemont (1 block below Thomas, I think) in Scottsdale in 1960. Sold and moved to Chicago in 1964. The latter was a mistake.
Well, I've probably told you way more than you wanted to know! But thanks for the info about Cutler-Plotkin!
I like this photo a lot. These are may favorite perspectives although they tend to make me a little dizzy!

Good one. Soft against hard, and loose against geometric.
ReplyDeleteLove the way you captured this one. It makes me think of Park Central.
ReplyDeleteWonderful perspective with the date palm trees in the foreground.
