Just three weeks ago, the last of the leaves on the fig tree in my backyard curled up and dropped off leaving this one lonely fig remaining on the tree. Today, I spotted new leaves bursting out from the ends of the branches. Soon it will be covered with those famously large leaves again and new fruit will start to develop.
Hummm want to eat it
ReplyDeleteNice detail, beautiful post and, I think, a great place to live.
ReplyDeleteNice little fig! Here things are changing very fast too. 20ºC(68ºF) in February is pretty hot!
ReplyDeleteI love figs. It is amazing that the new growth occurred all within three weeks. I want some figs with wine and cheese when the figs are ripe :)
ReplyDeleteGrowing things have to be quick there. Pretty little fig!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Sharon. Well observed!
ReplyDeleteWow, our fig is still bare, you can just see the beginning of life.
ReplyDeleteHey Sharon, have you made jam with the figs from your tree? Yum!
