Day View, Night View

A perfectly trimmed palm tree makes a great pattern against a blue sky when you shoot straight up from the base of the tree.

If there is enough street light, you can do the same thing against a night sky.

I love palms. Unfortunately, some of them are very messy and they must be trimmed regularly. We had three of these near our pool at our other house here in Ocala. It cost us $100 per tree to have them trimmed and that was a twice-a-year job!

Nice photos, though!

Both very nice.

I used to trim the one in our backyard though it wasn't one of those royal palms. Much shorter.

The night shot is my favourite!

Excellent composition! I like the view of looking up, you don't see this perspective at all, I haven't anyway. Very nice Sharon!

Two lovely palm shots.

I have been MIA lately. Cataract surgery. Healing well, probably no glasses, but the near vision is still coming together.
