Divine Legacy

Divine Legacy is an affordable housing apartment complex right on Central Ave with a light rail station right across the street.  I love it when I see affordable housing go up in prime areas.  A good mix of income levels is great for a neighborhood and the Central Ave. location is close to shopping, restaurants, art museums and cultural attractions.

Here's another photo from a side street.

Very good planning on the city's part. It looks very attractive and so good that it is conveniently located.

They look excellent Sharon, couldn't agree with you more.. Elitism is one of the major problems in the world.

I agree with the affordable housing thing. But I've got to say there's been some devil painting this divine legacy! Nah, actually, it's kinda bright and sorta cheery!

It's a nice-looking complex, too. Reminds me of some European public housing -- mod with bright colors.

We could do with those in London. Affordable housing is a joke here now.

Quite a name for a place, and I like the way it looks.

I like the look of them and you are right about mixed income neighbourhoods working the best!

I like the colors and that it doesn't look like "affordable" housing. :)

These look bright and cheerful and almost humorous, not what I usually associate with affordable housing.
