Nun's Shield

This floral designer was inspired by a very small piece called "Escudo de monja" or "Nun's Shield.  I actually liked this floral arrangement on it's own and would very much like to create an arrangement just like this.  I love the cluster of roses surrounded by the lilies and those round pom-pom -like flowers.  It would look great sitting in the middle of my dining room table.

Here's a closer view.

You're right, Sharon. The bouquet stands beautifully on its own. Flower arranging is a real art.

Based on my experience in your dining room, in the middle of your dining room table, this arrangement would complement, but still be eclipsed by, whatever you have prepared for dinner.

I'd love to see this show.

'Tis indeed a delicious piece and I think you should copy it and place it on your dining room table. I'd guess your home is filled with exquisitely tasteful artifacts. :-)

I wonder what those purple flowers are.

Original interpretation of the art work Sharon, and yes I agree about the arrangement perfect for a dining table, maybe minus the cross though!!
