Royal Palms

This is the center courtyard of the Royal Palms Resort in east Phoenix.  The Royal Palms is a four star resort that is popular with presidents and dignitaries when they visit the Phoenix area.  I found the little “tropical” window I featured yesterday while walking around the beautiful grounds of this resort.

I would have never picked that window to be at the Royal Palms.

Through the archway at the back of your photo today is T.Cook's, and excellent restaurant. The Royal Palms is a charming place. We live nearby, as you know. When Julie and I had to leave our previous house due to the fire, we chose to stay at the Royal Palms, and then fought with the insurance company for them to pay the bill.

It must be as good as it looks Sharon if it has such a high profile clientele!!

Brunch... food...courtyards, tranquility...

I wondered if that was it. I love this place. It is so beautiful.

The window looked so rustic - I would have never thought of such a swish place!

It looks so quiet and peaceful, no wonder it is so popular.

So, you're saying that even though it has a window that looks like a stable window, I still probably couldn't afford a night at the Royal Palms Resort?

Darn! Guess I'll look for a Holiday Inn. Wait! I can't even afford those anymore!

:-)

This truly does look like an oasis in the desert. You're rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous, are you?
