Remains of the Day

The rains have passed us by. All that remains are the puddles.

Hopefully, the winter rains will make for a colorful spring, giving those wildflowers and cactus enough moisture to produce spectacular blossoms.

I can hardly wait to see those brilliant, desert wildflowers. It won't be long now.

What a cool shot! I hope the desert blooms for you too - I'd love to see some photos of some prickly pear or saguaros in bloom!

Spring in the desert can be very beautiful so I hope you get lots of rain.

Sharon, you are being modest in describing your photo of a puddle. I think in Phoenix you would call that a lake, or at least a pond.
