More Light Rail Adventures

Since the light rail is only a few blocks away from where I live, I felt like I needed to understand exactly where it went and how close it was to places I like to visit so, I set off on an adventure to take it end to end. I walked to the closest station and took it north as far as it goes and then turned around and took it south and east as far as it goes in that direction. I headed back to Phoenix and arrived at my stop around 5:00 PM and was greeted by this view of North Central Ave. I decided it would make a great photo to share with all of you.

I'm embarrassed to say that I have not ridden our light rail just yet, but your adventure has inspired me!

Our lite rail here in San Diego (we call it the trolley) is still growing. It's fabulous to ride. I googled your 20 mile starter line, terrific system, congrats.

It is a great shot. I looked the system up on Google Maps and was surprised at how long it seemed to be. It looks like a great addition to the area.

Wow this shot reminds me of driving home every night on Central. I loved hanging out the Starbucks at Park Central. I also loved eating at Qdoba next to Starbucks. Thanks for the memories.

Thank you for showcasing Midtown in so many of your photos. Midtown is often the red-haired stepchild of Phoenix, with many people incorrectly thinking it is part of Downtown or just plain unaware of its existence. Your pictures often highlight the area and its distinctiveness.
