Yesterday I got to experience the Spring Patron's Breakfast at the Desert Botanical Garden. My friend Julie is garden patron but she was on her way to the airport for a trip to Venice so she couldn't go this time.
I loved how they decorated some of the tables with these small vases of flowers arranged down the center of the long tables. It certainly gave the place a spring-like atmosphere.
The flowers were too pretty to pass them by.
After the breakfast, I did take a short walk around the garden but since I was there for this event only, I didn't bring my camera.
I did take some photos with my cell phone and I can pop one or two of them onto the blog sometime soon.

How lovely of your friend to give you her invite. Pretty blooms too, the vases do add a touch of elegance to the room.
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to see flowers, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteIt is -19˚C here this morning.
This made me smile.
ReplyDeleteI need to see flowers and colour, lots of colour. : )
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are nice -- they look like they're lined up to be judged, as at the county fair.
ReplyDeleteThat was nice of your friend, I love the rose, in fact you would like the ones growing in my garden.
