The City Daily Photo Bloggers theme for the first of September is "Bridges". I took this photo several months ago when I was returning from that short trip to Oklahoma City. If the airplane lands in Phoenix from the east, it gently glides over the city of Tempe and the Tempe Town Lake. As you can see, there are three bridges that cross the lake at this point. The one all the way to the right is a railroad bridge and the other two carry traffic in and out of downtown Tempe. If the landing is on a clear day, I can get very good photos over Tempe as we make our landing approach. You can see another one here.

A very nice view of it
There are not a lot of rivers or lakes there, not a lot of bridges over troubled waters.
Whenever we fly in to NYC, I sit in the A window seat to get photos of all the bridges going over the East River. I have so many photos of those views but it's all part of the trip.
This is a great aerial view.
That is a great view of the bridges and of Tempe, Sharon.
Great view from the plane.
What a beautiful view!
Tempe seems an unlikely place to have such a large lake!
I do like plane photos, you can get some great perspective over cities.
