Nature and Science

There is a new parking garage that has been added to the Park Central complex and it's easy to see why.  The center is now full of classrooms for all the training facilities as well as the new Creighton University building.  Along the street side of the garage are several mural panels.

Some of the panels depict scenes found in nature like the humming bird and flowers.  The cactus bloom looks natural but that ear of corn appears to be sending a message that I haven't deciphered.

This last panel has a more scientific look to it.  That makes sense since most of the learning facilities here deal with either medical skills or computer skills.

Taking part in Monday Murals.

Love the hummingbird one, Sharon. They are all good ones.

Yeah, what's up with that corn? I can't figure it out either. Maybe it's mutated because of genetic modifications?

Being a midwest girl, that corn does seem a little out of place. Makes one think.

Very colourful murals, the first one looks like Calendula flowers.

I'd rather be outside, looking in! The hummingbird is beautiful.

I commend them on producing well-done murals but watch out for the graffiti "artists".

All 3 are quite beautifully done, but my favourite is the first one with the hummingbird. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Sharon.
