I've featured quite a few different cactus blooms these last few weeks but I thought I should feature some other plants I've seen blooming lately. These 4 o'clock flowers were looking very pretty.
The datura are showing their big, white blooms.
The passion flowers are still blooming and the desert roses are starting to show some blooms after their winter storage.
I just noticed the squash blossom above on my last visit to the garden.
The yellow bells to the left are blooming all over the garden showing these big clusters of bloom.
The Desert Botanical Garden is a very colorful place right now. We have to enjoy it now before the intense, summer heat hits us.
The passionflower is so exquisite
ReplyDeleteWhen comes to flowers, you are busy Lady.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blooms!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty place
ReplyDeleteI love those yellow bells, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteOur daturas haven't sprouted yet at all. I'm not sure we're going to get any this year. But I was ambivalent about planting them again, so it's just as well.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so pretty.
ReplyDeletePassion Flowers are always incredible, they're just gorgeous. A few years back we were riding our bikes up the Rillito River trail, and came upon two round tail ground squirrels running up the trail dragging a headless dead snake between them. I've always been sorry I could not get that picture. Your squirrel is just darling.
ReplyDeleteI love those datura blooms. Always a treat to run across them on a hike!
ReplyDeleteI thought those first ones were Hibiscus but SWMBO tells me 4 o'clocks resemble them but they're smaller.
ReplyDeleteThe third is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteSo much loveliness comes with the spring.
