I would never have seen this mural if I hadn't stopped to take a photo of something different. It was locked behind a gate. The area appears to be a parking lot for three buildings that house offices. I actually had to slip my camera between the bars of the gate to get this shot. The artist is Liliana Mora. She evidently has other murals in the downtown area. I'll have to see if I can find them.
Taking part in Monday Murals.
It is a very pretty one!
ReplyDeleteNice mural, sometimes it is very worth sticking the camera through the fence.
ReplyDeleteThat is really lovely, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, and well worth the trouble! She looks sort of Frida-ish. But she also looks like she has tattoos on her shoulders, so maybe it's not Frida Kahlo.
ReplyDeleteVery nice mural, well done.
ReplyDeleteMore zoom needed!
ReplyDeleteThe things we do to get a shot of a mural. It's a beauty.
ReplyDeleteHey Stefan, enlarge and enjoy. If Sharon had zoomed in, she would have lost the side detail with the flowers.
ReplyDeleteThe things we go through to get an ideal shot. Good find and a great mural.
ReplyDeleteNot sure why, Sharon, but my comments are disappearing. Maybe check for spam.
ReplyDeleteQuite eye catching!
ReplyDeleteA really lovely mural. It is quite interesting where our cameras lead us!
ReplyDeleteGreat find Sharon, it's a lovely mural. I've done a few of those "camera through the fence bars", lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in Monday Murals.
That's well done.
