Late Tuesday afternoon, I was feeling the urge to get outside so I took a walk at the Desert Botanical Garden. I'm so glad I did. There were colorful blooms all over the garden. Our wet winter has urged the wildflowers to make an appearance and they took up the challenge beautifully.
There were even some early cactus blooms like these beautiful claret cup cactus blooms.
Yellow, orange, red, blue, white and pink; color was everywhere I looked.
Gorgeous view. The flowers are vibrant
ReplyDeleteGreat with all the colors.

ReplyDeleteThe desert blooms, just add water.
ReplyDeleteFabulous. Love that first shot. It is gloomy & grey here with rain to come. And no colour really.
ReplyDeleteI have been to the Desert Gardens. So beautiful. The rains must have brought out the best this season. Very nice. Thanks for bringing back memories to me of my time there.

ReplyDeleteThere is nothing quite as lovely as the desert dun on its blooms and cactus sage green. Beautiful I , too, am glad you decided to go for a walk!
ReplyDeleteAmazing that all those colours are seen in a desert.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! We're getting some nice blooms in the Joshua Tree area, but not a superbloom year.
