Desert Colors

Late Tuesday afternoon, I was feeling the urge to get outside so I took a walk at the Desert Botanical Garden.  I'm so glad I did.  There were colorful blooms all over the garden.  Our wet winter has urged the wildflowers to make an appearance and they took up the challenge beautifully.

There were even some early cactus blooms like these beautiful claret cup cactus blooms.

Yellow, orange, red, blue, white and pink; color was everywhere I looked.

  6. Fabulous. Love that first shot. It is gloomy & grey here with rain to come. And no colour really.

  12. Wonderful! We're getting some nice blooms in the Joshua Tree area, but not a superbloom year.
