I saw this mural when I took a walk in Scottsdale over the holidays. Frank & Lupe's Old Mexico is a restaurant in the area. I've eaten there many times but not for two or three years now. Over the past three years, I've found I can't tolerate the "heat" of some Mexican food and this is one that makes it hot.
I don't think I had ever seen this mural on the back of the restaurant before.
This sign made of tiles is on the front of the restaurant.
Don't you just love "Frank's" mustache?
Taking part in Monday Murals.
Very nice murals. The first thing that popped into my head was an old song "Frankie and Johnny".
ReplyDeleteThose are both nice ones!
ReplyDeleteTile art is special. This one is so original with the traditional look.
ReplyDeleteOnly as hot as our digestion can tolerate.
ReplyDeleteGood murals.
ReplyDeleteThey are quite sweet, Sharon.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Lupe loves Frank's mustache, too. Both of these are clever and well done. Quite appropriate for their restaurant.
ReplyDeleteThey are both quite sweet, love the first one specially, Frank serenading Lupe :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in Monday Murals Sharon.
I also don't like spicy food, just makes me cough non-stop!
Very nice murals.
ReplyDeleteMarvellous.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. This is so sweet. I love it. Makes me smile. That balcony is too cute!
ReplyDeleteThat first one is like "Romeo and Juliet" transplanted to Guadalajara!
ReplyDeleteSweet pictures! I can almost hear the guitar.
